it all stems from the fact that VT & VMI effectively created the ACC when they forced UNC into southern conference probation in the late 1940's

I can understand why Duke might look down on us from an academic standpoint, and UNC would hold a grudge

beyond that who in the ACC thinks Tech does not belong?

remember, the school in the bull's eye is in Winston-Salem, not Blacksburg
